  • Hawes is accessible by train (Garsdale) 6 miles to the west. Trains are met by a regular bus service from Hawes. Passengers alight at the Dales Countryside Museum which is approximately 300 yards from Fair View.
  • The Wensleydale Railway operates a regular service between Bedale and Redmire (11 miles from Hawes). A regular public transport service by bus is available from Redmire.
  • Taxi services are available from Hawes, Garsdale and throughout the dale.
  • Regular bus services operate from Hawes to Richmond, Darlington, Northallerton and Ripon.
  • Hawes Village Bus operates year-round, connecting local villages.
